Experience
Kathy Russo returned to the corporate world in May, 2018 after staying home with her twins for 18 years. Her diverse professional background includes several careers. Kathy started out as Pastry Chef at The Frog and the Peach in New Brunswick. She then became Executive Pastry Chef in the executive dining room at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton.
Transitioning into the corporate environment, Kathy began working with the International Marketing group at BMS as Meeting Planner, arranging and attending meetings in the US and Asia. With a strong art background, she began creating presentation materials and in-house publications for the group. Kathy comes to Mercer Oak Realty as a strong conceptual thinker, and with an outstanding eye for design as well as a strategically focused understanding of marketing. She is motivated and excited to convey the wealth of services and properties that Mercer Oak has to offer.
While home with the twins, she owned and operated Community Yoga Studio in Hopewell, NJ.
Education
Kathy completed the Professional Pastry Chef Program at The New School in New York, NY. While working at BMS, she attended Mercer County College, majoring in visual arts, specifically graphic design. In 2002, Kathy completed her 300-hour certification as Yoga Teacher.
Community Service
Kathy has brought yoga to clients at Womanspace emergency shelter in Trenton, NJ. She also holds classes for adults with special needs, and has specialized training in yoga for people in recovery from addiction and alcoholism.
